Studio Photography Lab 1
In this shot my friend is at a 90 degree angle from the window which led to half of her face looking darker than the rest due to the lighting and the postioning. In this case the aperture was f8 and the shutter speed was 1/60 which made the photo look darker.
This photo is at the same angle as the one above, but this time the settings were a bit different. The shutter speed was 1/30 but the aperture remained the same as before. That difference made the photo turn out much bright and more dramatic than the picture above.
For this photo we were outside and tried using a reflector to reflect the suns light on the other side of the face so that the light would be a bit more evenly dispersed.
In this case we were inside the building and my friend stood facing the window. At this angle the light from the sun was mainly centre focused as the shadows are on the top and the bottom of the photo.
