"Favourite Irish Fairy Tales" dogs illustration

I took this illustration from a book called "Favourite Irish Fairy Tales" by Soinbhe Lally and illustrated by Finbarr O'Connor. When i opened the book to the very first story I have noticed this illustration and felt immediately drawn to to it due to the extragavent detail on the illustration that makes the dogs look realistic with the colours and the shading used, it felt almost as if i could touch them with my hands and feel the texture of their fur.
